Games, Part One

anastasia looked around and found herself giddy with anticipation. Frederick had told her to meet Him here wearing the dress He had left on her bed. It was a gorgeous red number, a flowing gown like something from Ginger Rogers' closet in the 30s or 40s. He must have had custom made for her. she had put it on, along with the matching red silk bra and panties, black stockings (with the seam running down the back), black garters, and shiny red high heel shoes that had been lying beside the dress. The final touch, as always, was something for her neck. she beamed radiantly every time she caught a glimpse of the sparkling silver necklace she wore, THE symbol of His ownership of her and her decision so long ago to give herself to Him forever (even when she didn't know if forever was possible).

she always loved dressing up for Him and felt beautiful and sexy. The place He told her to meet Him only added to the effect. she hadn't known a place like this existed. They both loved the music and atmosphere of the big band era, but that time had long since passed. Nonetheless, tonight she found herself transported into a supper club, just like she had imagined one had been in those days. Everything about the place filled her with a sense of that bygone time. Everyone was dressed in period clothing. On stage, a trio of women were singing into an old-fashioned microphone. she saw no signs of the modern world, not a single cell phone in sight. Always looking for the details, she could not even find one wristwatch of a contemporary design. she had dreamed of sharing an evening, if not an entire lifetime, with Frederick in this period -- and, now, He had somehow made it happen. she was so anxious for Frederick to arrive and experience this with her that she thought she might burst.

As it turned out, she would have to wait a bit longer than she expected.
